They can be mounted with either upper or lower screw, applying two different methods of support on the reeds.
It fits perfectly on any mouthpiece with a standard external shape (such as ebonite and similar), providing excellent resonance.
Derived from a patent we patented a few years ago, which referred to two 2-millimeter ribs that tighten the reeds while the rest of the shape does not touch the mouthpiece and vibrates freely, thus emphasizing the ligature’s resonance.
They now have a new screw that is much more comfortable to use.
